Immersion Detroit is an immersive floral installation gallery event, in the Detroit’s Month of Design.
Multiple floral designers and artists working alongside each other to create an immersive and interactive floral experience, the average person doesn't get the chance to be immersed in. Each artist brings their talent, passion, artistic freedom, and botanical material to share with the whole community. Most installations are by individual artists, but some pieces are collaborations across mutiple artists. The work is different every year, and ephemeral in nature.
Opening night party is for artists and guests to celebrate together, with quieter gallery style hours on Saturday. Immersion : The Dinner caps the weekend on Sunday.
All three styles of Immersion events are ticketed, see the ticket page for details and availability.
2026 is year three, and the response has been amazing. We're pinching ourselves, and we're really excited to flower for you. Come for the flowers, stay for the party!

We are so honored to be hosted by one of our own floral artists, Bree of Mother of Pearl Design and Farm.
Parking will be available and free, first-come first serve. Please note there will be some walking involved for both parking and to move around the site to enjoy the multiple installations and party offerings.

Yes! Tickets are available on the ticket page, for all Immersion events.
Tickets are required for all Immersion events : The Night, The Gallery, The neighborhood Hours, The Dinner.
PLEASE NOTE : Neighborhood Hours are FREE TICKETS, but we request you register with a $0 ticket. Neighborhood Hours are Sunday 12p-2p
Immersion is an all-out celebration of floral design and our community — and each floral artist, including the organizers and hosts — bring their art to you with no financial reimbursement.
Immersion is a platform, a community, a chance for us floral designers to spend time together and interact with our friends and community in a unique way. In our first three years, the ticket price directly supports the event foundations and the celebration — but we have really high hopes to grow to the point that we’ll be able to profit share with each artist, to help cover their material costs and then also their precious time.

The Dinner is a much anticipated and fast-selling ticket, we are so pleased.
We are still finalizing the 2026 details, but rest assured we will alert the waitlist as soon as tickets are available.
The Dinner is a strictly ticketed and pre-sale event - no sales at the door.

Immersion 2026 is hosted at Mother of Pearl Studio + Farm, a beautiful indoor/outdoor space owned by one of our contributing floral artists.
Be advised, there is absolutely uneven terrain in 2026, including woodchip paths and uneven garden walkways. We will all be prepared for late summer weather, whatever that brings.
Sturdy shoes are recommended.
The use of walkers would be at the guests discretion, but we don’t recommend a wheelchair to navigate this years exhibit.
So far, the location for Immersion has changed each year because we operate on a lean budget, but also because the community response keeps growing! Each year’s venue has presented a set of challenges and personality.
